I wonder.

If you had the knowledge that someone might do something rather horrendous one day, would you see the morally correct answer being to eliminate before that day comes? Or is it wrong to not give them a chance to potentially change that destiny?

[ probably the worst person to ask ever, but at least he'll probably be logical about it. ]

Hmmm. If I kill them, would it guarantee other people wouldn't die or get hurt because of them? Or is this just a "maybe things will get better IF I kill them" sort of thing?

It would guarantee that nobody would die or be hurt becasue of them.

With the caveat that you will never know with absolute certainty that they couldn't have just changed before hurting someone.

I'd still kill them. People rarely change and usually do so in such a slow way that it's pointless to hope they'll do so in time to make a difference in what they might do in the future.

[ There's a wait before she sends another response. ] Even if they were rather young? Or if it was merely a plan for murder made out of anger that might cool in time?

I mean *I* was really young and the Avengers still killed me. Youth isn't always an excuse.

The second one, ehhhh, I might give a little more leeway. Sometimes you can calm down after a certain point and see a better way for things to go if you have enough time to cool down.

Given time do you think you might have seen a different way?

I....I don't know. When I first got here, I would have outright said no, but after being alive all these months and talking with different people....it's opened up my mind and broadened my horizons a lot more than what I saw during the entire time I was alive back in my own world, even if I was connected to the internet the entire time and got to process so much information that way.

Then it would require similar conditions to the ones you've gotten here for you to have seen things in a different way?

Pretty much. I think mainly what I just needed was time. I moved way too fast and just needed to slow down to start thinking of different ways things could go besides the one plan I had in mind.

Out of curiosity, did they even try to talk you down?

[ihadstrings]

No. Maybe Vision would have but he wasn't around until I was too far gone and wasn't interested in communicating at all. But to be fair I didn't feel like talking much either at the very start. I immediately went to fighting them.

Still, you'd think could have at least made some attempt.

Besty, have you MET the version of Tony and Bruce in your world? Do either of them strike you as the 'talk now before trying to punch my way out of a situation' types?

Numerous times actually. Tony has his...rational moments. Here and there.

Followed soon by a descent back into his usual insanity I imagine.
