Texts From Last Night

Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.

This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

For sure.

If you wanna go for the long haul, I can recommend some series too. But then you gotta commit. You can't just watch one episode and think that means you've seen all it has to offer.

Comedy? Action? Reality shows?

I drive Steven crazy with my stupid reality shows sometimes. But they're great for turning the brain off. They don't need commitment or paying attention, so those are better for running in the background too.

the other two make sense, but what exactly is a reality show?

for me i think it just depends on what kind of mood i'm in, sometimes it's nice to just laugh at something silly

Reality shows are series that make it seem like cameras are following real people around, doing real things, so the viewers get a glimpse into what their life or their job is like. Or maybe some big competition is happening and the camera follows the contestants as they tackle the challenges and bitch about each other.

Don't let the name fool you, reality shows don't have much reality in them. Most of it is staged.

You could try Pawn Stars. It's about a couple guys running a big pawn shop, and whenever someone comes in to try and pawn something interesting, they'll explain what the something is and why it's either worth loads of money, or worth nothing. Great way to learn about Earth history and culture, that.
