Texts From Last Night

Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.
This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

"Don't worry about me. We can have coffee and pastries after taking care of you." Slipping out of her jacket, she rolls up the shirt sleeves and waits for Nanami to be comfortably seated. It's cute almost how he still manages to maintain the air of responsible adult even after braving a night out drinking with her.
She'll slide her fingers into his hair, cool fingertips applying gentle pressure against his scalp. A little massage to go with the healing process, apology and thank you all wrapped in one. Shoko takes her time, getting the unwanted vengeful guests to leave one by one. Once she's satisfied with her work, she'll give his head a last teasing squeeze and peeks around him, a twinkle in her eyes, red lips curved into an amused grin.
"All better?"

"Much, thank you," Nanami says. He stays seated, not risking tipping the boat so to speak. "You look as fine as ever already."
He didn't keep up with her in the end. Who could? Yet it's pleasant to have yet another friend around and without the messy drama Gojo and Geto swirl around them. Not that he'd prefer them gone. No, Nanami will take them both working through their issues.

The white-haired puppy could keep up if he ever got over his dislike of alcohol. Shoko's tried her best by trying to get him used to sweet and bubbly champagne cocktails, but it never takes. She moves away from the golden-haired pretty man and makes herself at home at his kitchen to get them both a nice cup of coffee.
"I've brought some pastries if you want. Otherwise just save them for Haibara. Did he just leave you here like this or did you pretend to be fine?"

"I was fine," Nanami insists from the couch. "It crawled up on me after he left. It isn't worth calling him back. I wouldn't have asked you to come either, if you hadn't offered."
Haibara would be there in an instant, certainly, but Nanami knows how to cope with these things. He can always ask for Haibara's help next time.

"You can always call me even when I'm not the cause of your ailment, you know? Don't wait for me to offer. It's not as if I'm swamped with work here."
He should have come to her and get fixed up before trying to find and save the kids.
"I met an old grandpa, former chef of the Hong Kong Peninsula kitchens. He offers private dinners here and it's divine. You two should try it sometime. I think you'd like it too."
