Huh. I haven't tried cooking. Between Inumaki and the food trucks I've managed to survive.

Inumaki could feed all of us three meals a day if we let him. I have no doubt you're surviving. However, even a simple dish like a grilled cheese can bring a great sense of accomplishment.

How about we make grilled cheese sometime this week? You can always come to me on cooking matters. I don't consider it bugging at all. [ Especially not if it provides a way in to Muta letting him in his life. ]

The convenient thing with Folkmore is anything we're lacking in the moment, we can summon before we cook.

True. Though now we can all do it, powered by interaction instead of cursed energy.

I suppose that's true, and it's not limited to puppetry.

Indeed. Gojo has even created a whole building from Lore. It is remarkable.

I didn't mean to suggest he did. I've never tried to summon a building. I don't think I could make one.

You might not be able to build a building with cursed energy, but you could with Lore. It's not about grade level. It's intention.

Yeah, I've picked up on that. Generating Lore and making things. I upgraded my television so I could enjoy my media in a much better way.

I haven't had a need to summon/make a building, but I am building up a large reservoir of Lore in case I should need something.

An upgraded television makes sense. Personally, I have enjoyed reading some books I didn't have time for back home.

I don't want to tempt fate. I don't read that much, I tend to listen to books. Always used to give me migraines.

Committing to some part of life in Folkmore creates vulnerability, but that very vulnerability could be something Thirteen wants: it demonstrates potential, growth, change. Not purchasing, not engaging, not doing anything at all could tempt Thirteen to send you home. There's no way to avoid risk.

Listening to audiobooks is a valid form of reading. You're simply shit out of luck if you get a poor narrator.

She doesn't have anything to send me back to, I'm sure whatever was left of my corpse has been disposed.

You get used to it. Technical books have incredibly dry narrators, but if the topic is interesting enough it doesn't really matter.

All the more reason to commit to this place.

The same can be said of the writing itself. It's simply a different aspect of the same situation.

I'm not really sure what kind of commitment you think I should make.

To live your life to the fullest and as though you will be here for a significant amount of time.

I don’t really know that much about that. I can’t say I lived much during my life such as it was to begin with.
