umm its in august. do you celebrate your birthday in the equivalent month here or should i count from what time it was back home? i was due to turn 21 in a few months but we're still in winter here so my birthday is either in like a month or its in like 6 months

You can do either. It'd be too complicated for me to calculate the months because I kinda took a long nap once and missed out on a few years.

Guess you can just pick whatever day's better for you to celebrate. It's not like anyone's gonna fight you on whether or not it's your birthday.

im not really planning to celebrate but i think it makes more sense to count from when I left home since i've done the actual aging, you know?

Anyway, we've put a lot of resources at the Compound just in case. But it's getting warmer now, so I don't think it'll happen - a flood though, maybe.

I guess we don't really have one of those, but we should get one. But that's good to know - medical care that we recognize is in short supply here, since it's mostly magic healers.

i think it'd be a good idea! or something like an old school phone tree

i've already got one at my apartment, but if you wanted to keep another one at the compound that'd be handy. who knows where i could be if a crisis hits

Oh, there's a whole medical bay at the compound. But the problem there's not lack of equipment, it's lack of staff.

I don't know how to set up a phone tree, do you?

a first aid kit would still be a good idea. portable, you know?

i do! they used to do them at school. you designate one person to start the tree and then when something bad happens, they have 5 people they know to call, those 5 people call their next 5 people, so on and so forth

but a group chat's probably easier

If that happens, I think a large amount of people live at Satori Hills. It wouldn't be too hard to assign everyone someone to get in touch with.
