It kinda sucks if that's the case, because me and Steve were just trying to be nice and help them cross the road or sweep their porches, or rake their leaves. Anything they wanted, as long as they paid us 10c so we could go to Connie Island during the summer.

So this whole time they were just trying to tell us to fuck off?
