Texts From Last Night

Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.

This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

TEXTS FROM LAST NIGHT GENERATOR

  1. "It was an accident." This is what you told me the last time this happened, I fear... as well as the time before that.
  2. It would seem my life has become an endless game of "illegal, or just frowned-upon?"
  3. Instead of having sex, we spent the entire night making pillow forts and having sword fights. There were several dramatic death monologues.
  4. I know the sorrows afflicting you today, and know well too that the blame for some few of them may be laid quite rightly at my feet — for this, I apologise.
  5. Bats. LIVE bats. How — WHY — did you get LIVE BATS in such quantity? And moreover, why did you feel it necessary to put them in MY ROOM last night?
  6. [empty inbox, awaiting your missive]

To answer your questions: I needed them for an experiment. As to how they got into your room, I wish I knew. The last time I looked, they were in their little mesh-covered enclosure in my attic.

What manner of experiment was that, then? Because if it was indeed 'see how long it takes them to escape and what they do after that', I see that it was an uproarious success.

Oh, buddy. My life has been like that for years. You want some pointers?

Loath as I am to admit it... I might not find them amiss, if you're offering.

Okay. So the most important thing is to move past it. Accidentally stab someone? Well, there's nothing you can do to change that because it's happened. You just have to move past it. If you don't, it'll drive you nuts.

Also, lie. Lie through your teeth. Tell the cops the house was on fire when you got there. They'll believe it if you're attractive enough.

Notably, it was a *fun* accident. That is the important part. The crucial bit. The key.

All three times, was it?

How accidental can such a thing truly remain, in such case as this?

Some things just can't be prevented. The original activity is the fun part, the unfortunate fallout as a result of the unanticipated tremor (which really is totally unpredictable, perhaps it just likes you) is the accident.

Ignore both options and just do what you want.
