Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme, April Fools edition! See, Thoth learned about April Fools from reading Chaucer but enjoys that it's an ongoing thing. Thoth's switched things up. Initial messages (aka top levels)—all set April 1st ICly—maaaaay go to the wrong person! So not all hell breaks loose, replies carry forward with whoever you've reached, but you might be texting your innermost intoxicated or sleep deprived secret to someone you don't even know.

If you'd like to opt out of misfires, please include this in your top level (by prompt or overall). Otherwise, enjoy indulging Thoth's amusement and building some new CR.

This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.

This can be used for samples on our applications and as spoons for players accepted into the game.

[ Steve pokes a little with his cloth. ]

[ He hisses through his teeth and inches away. ]

[ He wrings out the cloth and then goes back to being gentle. ]

[ He lets his head fall back. ]

[ Steve gets him a pillow to prop his head up. ]

I don't think you want to know just how much I can smell all the time, inside a dumpster or not.

You just can't stop yourself from helping people, can you?

Maybe if I go deaf and stop hearing all of it, I'll stop trying to help.

[ He slathers some ointment on Matt. ]

[ Matt gets to his feet and walks stiffly to the kitchen to get a bottle of water. He feels through a few pill bottles for over the counter painkillers. ]

Are you going to babysit me all night?

Good, then maybe you won't be going to look for another fight.

And I don't know, should I?

[ Once he's done bandaging Matt, he'll get up to cook. He's... not great. ]

[ He chuckles and shakes his head. ]

The way I was trained, I could go fight like this. If I had to. You want anything to drink?

I'll get myself a water. You want me to crack you open a beer?

Not after taking painkillers I don't.

[ He gestures around his head. ]

It'll dull my senses.

I won't stay all night. But I might next time if you bleed through those bandages.

You really have to buy me dinner first if you want to spend the night, Rogers.

[ He leans carefully back against a counter in the kitchen. ]

I have a friend back home who does it. But she's for emergencies.

[ He means booty call. ]

[ But he definitely putters around the apartment like he's Matt's girlfriend anyway. ]
