Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme!

Because it's still April and Thoth is still amused, consider this round two of the Initial Misfire Edition. Initial messages maaaaay go to the wrong person! So not all hell breaks loose, replies carry forward with whoever you've reached, but you might be texting your innermost intoxicated or sleep deprived secret to someone you don't even know.

If you'd like to opt out of misfires, please include this in your top level (by prompt or overall). Otherwise, enjoy indulging Thoth's amusement and building some new CR.

This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.

This can be used for samples on our applications and as spoons for players accepted into the game.

I've certainly seen people go through a number of them. Not every Pokemon is an easy target!

Besides, you must be a little cautious with the flare.

I mean, of course it is not a real firework, but you still should not be very close to it when it goes off.

[You know, like by running over to grab it right away or stick your face there to see if the ball worked!]

In my present day, there is no flare. Just a little light.

I admit, it isn't. Especially after catching so many Pokémon.

The flares are fun! Though I suppose they are a little dangerous...

If you make them yourself, in theory, could you choose the spark color?

I suppose you could if you knew how. I don't know how to do that, though of course I can make the flare.

We should try and figure out how to make colored flares.

Some other kind of minerals in with the powder, I suppose?

There must be certain measurements.

And certain minerals, to be sure.
Perhaps Lian would know. He enjoys rocks.

Yes. Kleavor evolves with a rather rare stone, so it's only sensible someone with his interests would be chosen - though he's very young.

There's a mountain, with a cavern system, very near Kleavor's seat. We have gone exploring there before.

He must have a real talent with Pokémon for the Clan send him out to the wilds to take care of a very important one.

Well, yes, he does. His partner is a Goomy. They have good temperaments, as dragons go, but that's still a very difficult and unusual typing for a novice to befriend!

I personally would not have sent him out at such an age, all the same...but he's quite close to the Diamond warden nearest him. She helps to keep an eye on him. It's quite the same between Gaeric and Sabi, Lord Braviary's Warden.

Clan loyalties aside, Wardens are often alone in the wilderness, with no one about but each other for many miles. We look out for one another. Even those who care more about the rivalry than I.

Usually Dragon-Trainers tend to show a talent at a young age. They tend to be very serious.

I imagine so, it would be scary not to be like 'Well, if I need help, someone is nearby'

I don't know that he intends to specialize. His options would be very limited unless he traveled, anyway; the Gible line is the only other one about.

But then, it's extremely rare, in Hisui, for anyone to have more than one Pokemon partner.

I feel like he will probably get more one day.

Now, yes. Such things are becoming far more common.
Though I doubt he'd have exclusively dragons. I've always been surprised that he did not have a rock-type! Probably he will have at least one or two, one day.
