What can I say? Zaun is a free market that doesn't limit itself by the usual trade rules; we enjoy an honour system at best.

There's always people, and where there's people there's some level of politics. Perhaps I'm just retired.

Plenty of people who can die, but how many to ensure they don't?

There will be a struggle in the power vacuum and the other Chem-Barons will pick over the corpse before someone will bring them in line. That's the way it must be.

I don't believe someone of your station retires from such things. That's where you move the needle.

Hmm, who can say. Zaunites are used to the threat of death on the daily; I can't say the same for the soft populous of Piltover.

That is the usual way of things, but with your knowledge of Zaun, I thought you might have some idea who will bring them in line.

There are other issues at play than the meddling of human politics. Someone has to face them.

In an ideal world, neither would be used to such things. People should not have to be used to the threat of violence and death. That is a better world to build.

I do. I have contingencies, but there is no point in sharing those.

It is my goal to work together with Zaun, easier done when you know the leader.

I am aware. No doubt as interesting and excellent as your own skills to avoid a knife in your back.

Even if I may have died, it's possible to change things. I wasn't dead when I came here, and I may yet go back and survive. As I draw breath, I refuse to give up.

I would expect no less of you to stay well informed. It has long been my goal that Hextech should help Zaun as well as Piltover.

I was mortally wounded when I arrived where I am, but I received medical treatment to persist. There is always something that can be done if one has the strength of character to push forward.

Hextech hasn't done all we set out for it to do, but the recent reality check shows good reason to do more for the people of Zaun.

It is nice to see the threat of annihilation moves the needle in Piltover. Your fearless leader cuts the red tape better than expected.

It seems cruelty to save a man's life only to punish him further, unless there is promise of release on the far side.

It may be what moved many of my peers, but it's the injustice revealed that moved me. Yes, I admit I was blind to much of it before.

You don't believe that such punishments are justified for certain individuals?

You know what could have also revealed the injustice? Coming to view us as we wallowed in filth and toxicity for your benefits. That is done now; you've seen the light so to speak.

I don't believe that justice comes from punishment. I would take a pound of curing the problems over a pound of flesh any day, though I know that is not how most people think.

It could have, yes. There's plenty of mistakes I've made over the years, ones that cannot be changed. Only the future.

Such idealism. I didn't know you had it in you; aren't you just a fascinating woman? So I suppose you'll solve the problems of the undercity rather than bring to justice the one that shot the rocket into your window?

Hmmm, only the future indeed. It seems you have a second chance here. Let's see what you rouse yourself to do with it.

If I had a choice of one or the other, that'd be easy. I'd take solving the problems of the undercity in a heartbeat. Naturally, it's the harder choice, especially as so many people clamor loudly for blood to pay for blood. I may be an optimist, Mr. Silco, but I doubt everyone will survive that rocket. I will do the best I can to improve upon the conditions in the undercity and to protect both cities from outside threat, all while trying to prevent them from tearing each other to shreds. I will not be able to enact some perfect solution, only the best I can manage.

While I haven't gained much information about the state of things back home, the time to pause and to think is an advantage I will not have back there, so I must make the most of it.

We of the undercity have learned to take care of ourselves; we don't require you for saving, just take the boot off of our throats. The cost will always be blood, and I have no issue paying with it.

And don't call me Mister. It's Silco. Most of us will never have a family name.
