Texts From Last Night

Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.

This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

Whose ceiling is it?

( not whose blood? Toji, please. )

[ They both have their priorities in order. ]

I had something of a mishap in Mr. Lasso's kitchen. I was hoping to remedy it before he returned from his work.

Realistically, though, how often do people look at their ceilings unless they're fucking in the room?
Is it a lot?
He seems like the forgiving type.

I don't believe he has entertained anyone romantically, but should he, I do not imagine him the sort to carry on in a kitchen.

There is only a little, really. Even so, I am loathe to leave such an open proclamation of my failure on display.

And then there is the smell. I cannot ignore it.

just picturing Ted coming home to the two of them scrubbing at his ceiling 😆

Kitchens aren't very comfy.

Right, right. You could try mixing detergent with some vinegar and use that on the stain.
It should take care of the smell too.

this is what happens when she brings people over, sorry ted

Is it always about comfort?

I had hoped that one of these inventions of your time to act on its name, but that was naïve. Vinegar is what I'm more familiar with, but floorboards are something altogether different.

Detergent? Which sort?

[ There's dish detergent, but laundry detergent does smell better. ]

at least they try to leave things tidy

[personal profile] resurrectiondoll 2024-03-03 12:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, you don't care?

They're just trying to get your money. Nothing wrong with the old methods.

Dish soap ought to do the trick.
matermali: (173)

right, they're monsters, not slobs

[personal profile] matermali 2024-03-03 12:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose it was always circumstantial. Has luxury been your priority?

[ There was one time she bothered being patient enough to wait for a bed. Perhaps two...? But that was for romance, which is dead, so... ]

I'll put my faith in your suggestion, then. You have my thanks.

monsters have manners and standards too

What can I say, I can make do with whatever, but I like nice things if I can get them.

Hey, sharing is caring.
Or something.</span

An adaptible enough philosophy. 'With whatever' is what I would come to expect prior to my arrival, but then this is a unique realm where comfort is around every corner.

There may be some kitchens with tables that transform into bedding.

It's almost as if it doesn't want us to leave.

But would you trust magical table beds to hold up?

[personal profile] matermali 2024-03-03 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Better a gilded cage, or iron bars?

In that consideration, any piece of furniture is ready to turn on us when we least expect. The ground would be safest, then, for the sacrifice of comfort.

But imagine the laundry.

Can either really keep you in?

I see your point. Safety fist, that's what they always say, isn't it?

But imagine the bliss.

Once upon a time, perhaps.

[ An answer for three. ]

My imagination seems to avoid such boldness as that, now.
