[He found some tatty newspaper piled to one side so is using that to try and clean the cat up. It's... working? The cat doesn't look thrilled, the other cat is judging the fuck out of him, and the half-orc is just sneezing the whole while.]

[Well that's sure a sight, even from afar. He's an easy spot from the roof even without the cats' involvement, what with him being tall, hungover, and green.]

[She lands smoothly and offers him a grin. Within moments Rogue scoops up the non-pukey cat and popping him in a canvas grocery bag, handing him another.
While she's dressed casually, the mutant's covered neck to toe with clothing, gloves included.]

[He might be small for an Orc child, but he's bigger than her. She is unfazed.]

[Sniffle, sneeze, sniffle- feel bad for him, he absolutely looks pathetic there with the cat in one hand and the newspaper in the other.

But the cat's fairly cleaned off now so he'll drop the paper to get the bag, a little awkward in getting the cat into it. And he'll accept the other bag too, considering Rogue at her assertion, but then Jester was tiny and pitched him quite a distance.

Yasha helped, but he suspected she could probably do it all on her own too. So Rogue being able to heft him? Not entirely shocking as a thought.]

[Okay, so at least he wasn't lying to her just to avoid helping the fur children, and she does look sympathetic. Here's hoping some allergy medication will sort this all out. The cleaner cat receives one more chin scratch before she straightens and surveys him.]

[Once he confirms, she unceremoniously bends at the knees to scoop him seamlessly into her arms as though he was a mere child and then they're off.]

A bit bigger than what you'd call a sail boat. Galleon, crewed about eighty to a hundred average. No engines though- only really know about those because some of the house boats have 'em. Don't know a thing about workin' 'em though.

[Honestly, so long as she wasn't asking unpleasant questions, everything's fine. People were curious about him around here, but the questions were more polite curiosity than shitty commentary, so definitely miles better than some places back home.]

Nah, not priests, clerics. They all have magic of some sort from their god or goddess. So naturally, you get a cleric of some sorta nature, storm, or ocean deity, they can be pretty useful on a ship. Can get expensive though. [And a frown, brows furrowing faintly as he tried to suss out what the hell Rogue was talking about.] Meteorwhatagists? And apps? Phones are like the things they gave us here, right?

[He at least remembers someone mentioning that in passing.

[It likely would have gotten him flustered again, and it did, a bit, but there was also an almost sort of blink-and-you-miss-it sort of expression, like he just couldn't quite make sense of what she said, that anyone would find him attractive if they weren't looking for some stereotypical example of a half-orc. Which he sure as hell wasn't. But it was shaken off for a soft huff in response as he followed along.]

Hoisting the cat bags onto her shoulders a little more securely, Rogue rummaged for her key and let them into the apartment. It's still pretty standard issue for the moment. One thing to notice is that she clearly was in the midst of making breakfast. Also, that there are several dozen fresh muffins cooling on racks.]

[To be fair, Fjord has no idea what's standard issue. His friends settled in Gram, so he saw the cottage, but he'd found himself a ramshackle little one-person houseboat to live in for the moment. For... reasons.
