The dog was very very soft and fluffy. His hair curled, and petting him was like petting a cloud. A soft warm cloud.

Vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. Box mix. Strawberry shortcake comes in a very close second, though!

Ooooooh. Those are very good cakes. There's a lot of good toys for strawberry shortcake.

Chocolate cake with white frosting and little frosting flowers. We're opposites!

Are there? I don't think I've ever had any toys for strawberry cake as a kid.

We are! If we ever have to get a cake for the both of us, we should get a marbled one.

Oh you can get so many! Shortcake the strawberry cow! The cat with strawberries on its back! A pink bat! Or even an actual plushie of strawberry shortcake. Plus you can get baking toys that let you 'make' strawberry shortcake. Or board games where you bake. There's a lot of options.

That would be fun!

I can boil them, scramble them, over easy, poach them, even make what's called a bird's nest!

Give them a try. They take a little practice but it's a good skill if you ever want to make bento boxes.

Yes yes! I need to learn how to make those. A friend gave me one for New Year's, and it was super tasty and super cute. The boxes are fantastic for making a picnic somewhere. Anywhere. I love it.
