I still crash when I'm not being careful, to be honest. Then again, I don't use mine nearly as much as I maybe should.

Crashing is part of the learning process!

I've just never needed to, I suppose. Mine are hidden until I need them, and most of the time I just walk or take the train. They're also not the most viable form for flying long distances.

How else will you learn if you don't make some mistakes along the way?

I don't need to, but it's...I guess the novelty of it is really cool. Buuut now I'm super curious about what kind of wings you got.

Exactly! You have to stumble to climb or something like that. It's not like it's learning how to be a vampire, I don't think I can hurt anyone by flying. Unless I crash into them but I don't think that'd hurt too much.

Mine aren't very traditional, they look like a goldfish tail. I'm sure Thirteen thought it was very funny giving me something so odd.

Just be careful about where you're crashing for yourself too! You don't want to accidentally get stuck or injure yourself. Do you have someone who can help you?

I heal fast now even if I get hurt. Which is really one of the very few perks. But nope nobody to help right now. Just trying to do my best to learn on my own away from crowded areas

It has to be stored cold but ....

Honestly I hate to say it but warm is better because it usually means it's fresh.

No. No, definitely not. I don't like having to hurt someone but embracing honesty (I've heard this place likes that) I can't deny it's probably the best that way [ she will now feel bad for admitting that ]

Weirdly a few people have volunteered. I thought it was weird when someone I shared a crib with volunteered. It was even weirder from practical strangers

That's really appreciated! I know people don't have to keep what they are a secret here, but it's what I'm used to. So kinda a weird adjustment to be open with you know ... [ needing blood to survive. ]

Of course. Even when you do find people who tolerate you -- even accept you! -- it's still hard not to expect the torches and pitchforks from the masses.

Frankly, I'm shocked that so many people here have been so CASUAL about it all.

I haven't been what I am long, but I've definitely noticed that with my boyfriend. He's always waiting for the shoe to drop and the pitchforks to come

People seem pretty casual about everything here, even our role features

It makes noise and is heavier than I am. I am...not used to modern technology.

Does yours have an ice maker? Those are sometimes even louder

No, I too have a fridge. I approach it with caution. [Or not at all. But hey, at least she didn't set her house on fire, unlike some people she could mention.]

I'd say you don't have to be cautious, it's probably not going to attack but I feel like that's inviting disaster here. we might end up with the brave little toaster in real life
